More complex questions: Some questions require additional research. If your question falls into this category, the cost for my answer is $50, payable in advance via Paypal.

Upon receiving your question and $25 deposit, I'll notify you within 24 hours whether I think it will require more than a minor effort for me to answer it. If the higher rate applies, you have the option of paying the balance in advance or receiving a full refund of your deposit. If I cannot answer your question I will immediately refund your deposit.

I'll publish your question and answer in this weblog, Contentious, or I,Reporter within three business days. It's up to you whether you want me to identify you in that posting. If you don't want your Q&A published, I can answer privately for an additional $15.
